About
Hey there, I’m Michele!
Lover of dance, music, and life stories!
A Little About Me...
When I first started teaching ballroom dance in 1991, I knew right away that this was "my true calling"!
I established "Dance in Boston" in 2001 after ten years of studying under the tutelage of world champions and teaching for well established dance studios. I have dedicated my whole career to helping uncover students’ latent dance talent, that they never knew existed, and reaching even greater heights with those students who have had dance experience.
Specializing in wedding couples, preparing for their first dance, has been my focus but I also really enjoy working with students who are learning just for fun and those serious about progressing to an advanced level. Sharing my passionate enthusiasm of music and dance with singles and couples has been a dream job, though over time my love of teaching has encompassed so much more. Getting to know my students, their stories and their lives has been, and continues to be, the most fulfilling part of my teaching career.
Someone, dear to my heart, once told me to find something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life, and I’m so fortunate to have taken their advice!
The dance studio formally known as "Dance in Boston"...
is now "Anyone Can Dance Studio". It's the same owner/instructor, with the same enthusiasm, and teaching style all wrapped up in a whole lot of fun!...just a different name and location. After teaching for over 30 years in the Boston area, and 23 of those years at my own studio "Dance in Boston", I felt it was time to shake it up so here I am in Virginia Beach and loving it!
There are 100's of five star reviews on Yelp, Google Reviews & The Knot that were written about me & my former studio "Dance in Boston", and now those reviews have been carried over to my new studio "Anyone Can Learn to Dance" Studio.
Why Choose "Anyone Can Dance" Studio?
* It's boutique dance instruction. No cookie-cutter "one-size-fits-all" approach to teaching dance. Everything from what you learn to how you are taught is designed to fit your needs.
* Completely private dance lesson. No sharing the studio, stereo system or dance floor with other students & their instructors, which if you've ever been to a dance studio, is extremely unusual.
* You always get the owner, with over 30 yrs. experience of teaching ballroom and wedding dance preparation, and who also has a vested interest in your success.
* Informal relaxed atmosphere where fun is the top priority.
